A Brand New Year

Looking back on the last decade – so many great memories – 7 grandchildren arrived on the scene and # 8 due in April. Mark retired, We have travelled a lot, sold our first and only home, became happily homeless and are building our first home.

So thankful for health and strength, family and friends and the Grace of God in our lives. Looking forward to this year and all that lies ahead. Our prayer is that we would honor God, love Him more and be found faithful in whatever He calls us to do.

May the Lord Bless each of you this Year – May you discover just how much He loves you. May His peace be yours.

Merry Christmas from Lexington

Wishing you all a blessed CHRISTmas . We are here in Lexington with Jill, Buddy, Knox and Monroe for Christmas- God willing next year will be at Corran Cottage.

We are so excited to see the progress – we enjoyed taking a walk across the fields and standing in our great room looking out at the valley. Hopefully by summer we’ll be here, but for now the homeless adventures continue and we are loving this season of life.

Stay tuned for our next adventure

Loving Lexington

Spending time with Knox and Roe. We had breakfast at Nikos Grille then drove on the Blue Ridge Parkway, toured around VMI (Virginia Military Institute),Washington and Lee University campus, had a picnic on our land and picked some pears from our tree.

Time to head East again

Sitting in the Minneapolis airport waiting for our flight back to Virginia- tried to catch an earlier flight but our ticket wouldn’t allow any changes – Delta 🤨.

It has been a great 10 days with Mel, Tim and kiddos. The weather was great for most of our time. Can’t wait to see them all for Thanksgiving next month in Virginia 😀

Exploring Wisconsin

Yesterday we went to Comstock Creamery and saw cheese being made and tried some as well as some delicious cheese curds. Then on to Shell Lake but it was so blustery we didn’t stay long. Today we went to Interstate Park at St Croix, fun hiking and some brave people (Mel and Tim) did some rock climbing.
